Pastor E. Lamar Bell

Born in Covington, Georgia, Senior Pastor Lamar Bell is a visionary. Through perseverance, dedication, and a spiritual belief in things unseen, he founded Faith of Jesus Ministries, Inc. as well as successful businesses.

His ability to take a seed and reap a harvest is the premise upon which his ministry began.  In 1994, Pastor Bell planted a seed and began tithing to a physically non-existent ministry. A blade manifested in November of 1995 and Faith of Jesus Ministries, Inc. was established. Pastor Bell along with his wife, Pastor Elsie Bell, co-founded FOJM which started out as an in-home Bible Study which they soon outgrew. Driven by a need to move to a larger permanent facility, Pastor Bell prayerfully proclaimed property in April of 1997 and three months later purchased the property and the church was built.

Pastor Lamar Bell is a great help to the community of Newton County.  He has provided cars, food, housing and jobs to the needy.  Along with FOJM, he has assisted members of the community with utilities, rent, and college tuition. Pastor Bell strives to sow into the community because he wants his community to be above and not beneath; the head and not the tail. Through his faith in Jesus, Pastor Bell strives to impart wisdom to enable others to reach their full potential in God.  He believes that having faith in Jesus will get the faith of Jesus delivered unto you.

Pastors Lamar and Elsie Bell are parents of nine children, grandparents of over 25 and great grandparents of over ten.
