This Ministry serves the community by providing food and clothing, as well as household items. Our customers are treated with discretion, dignity and respect as we help to meet their most vital needs. Community Give-Away events are held throughout the year. Community Affairs
Led by Pastor Elsie Bell, this ministry bridges the gap between the church and the local community. It endeavors to initiate and promote efforts in areas including, but not limited to, the following: implementing community outreach programs, engaging in positive community empowerment projects, developing public relations in line with our vision, and nurturing meaningful relationships with key community groups.
Men’s Ministry
Under the leadership of Pastor Vernon Bell, Men Being Men (MBM) vision is to equip men to live godly lives by serving their family, church, and community. MBM seeks to empower men to be men of strong character and integrity, develop an effective prayer life, discovery and put into use spiritual gifts, and to help hold each other accountable to God’s standards.
Women’s Ministry
The goal of Women of Distinction is to come alongside all women at FOJM to support them as they grow in relationship with Christ. Pastor Elsie Bell & Sis. Shirlon Mathis have a desire to connect with women no matter where they are in their faith walk. Their goal is to address the concerns of women, encourage women in the area of their worth, mentor young women, teens and girls and to challenge women to use their spiritual gifts and talents for the glory of God in the home, church, and community.
Youth Ministry
The children are our future, and we believe that when you teach a child to choose the right path, when they are older, they will remain upon it. This amazing ministry is led by Sis. Destiny Martin and Sis. Yolonda Kendrick

Music Ministry
Bro. Jeremy Beckett leads this ministry which includes the band members and praise team. The vision of this ministry is to allow their gifts to be used by God to bring people to Christ.
Dance Ministry
The purpose of FOJM’s Dance Ministry is to minister to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ through praise, worship and dance. Our goal is to usher in the presence of the Almighty through movement. Led by Sis. Destiny Martin.
Member Care Ministry
A ministry of compassion that serves people within the church and local community. This ministry meets emotional and spiritual needs by connecting with people through phone calls and visits and addressing physical needs through benevolent outreach. Led by Min. Charlene Harris.
